MY BIG FAT SECRET

By now you have all seen some pretty awesome transformations from Team Atrain. We’re not just changing physiques here, we’re truly changing peoples’ lives. We’re helping them build lean muscle, we’re helping them melt fat away, and we’re achieving these incredible results with a max of one HIIT cardio session per week. I get asked DAILY “What’s your secret?” My answer is always something like “Hard work” or “A tight diet.” But after 20+ months of testing and research, I can finally reveal the secret to you.

Bamboo extract.

I have been working with an incredible team of research scientists over the past two years to help them perfectly formulate and test dosages of bamboo extract with its sole purpose being to help people gain lean mass while lowering their body fat.

photo 4When you think of bamboo, one of the first things that pops into people’s heads is the word “strength.” The protein that structures the bamboo shoots has a very unique and superior amino profile which is why it is able to grow quickly and strong. We have derived a highly bioavailable form of the protein from bamboo and it is CHANGING LIVES! Until now the whey protein has been known to have the highest bioavailability of protein out of any source at 104 on the bioavailability index, with eggs coming in at a close second at 100. The protein in bamboo extract weighs in at 174 on the bioavailability index! That makes this protein the most efficiently used source possible! You ready to make some serious gains?

photo 3But it doesn’t stop there. Due to the high fiber content of bamboo which causes the body an exorbitant amount of time to digest, the actual act of digesting bamboo extract sends your metabolism into overdrive making it a very safe thermogenic. This property makes it truly unique because as you know, most thermogenics are very high in stimulants putting you at risk for heart complications. Bamboo extract has NO STIMS making it incredibly safe.

So there you have it. Superior protein source with thermogenic properties. And here is your proof! That’s right, BOTH Team Atrain coaches have been personally using bamboo extract and achieved some amazing results. We fully stand behind this supplement!

Sound too good to be true? Yeah, that’s because we completely made everything up. Until Robin decided to Google “bamboo extract” and saw that it actually is a real supplement that is taken for hair, skin and nail strengthening, we totally thought we made it up. So what was the point of this blog? DO NOT TAKE EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET AT FACE VALUE!!!! There’s a reason that we list sources when we blog about important topics. We (Team Atrain) believe in spreading accurate information that we have taken the time to research from medical and scientific journals as opposed to “science” that has been passed down by word of mouth over the years. Remember the game “telephone” you played as a kid? One person whispers something like “I think hot dogs are disgusting” to the person next to them and then the message gets passed down the line until the person at the end stands up and repeats what they said, and it turns out be something like “Billy’s mom has back hair and made out with a hot dog.” Yeah… that’s what nutrition and training blogs can be like. Information gets twisted, facts get tweaked, the truth gets lost. If people can’t back up their claims with articles from reputable publications, then you just can’t assume it’s true.

NOW HEAD TO MY IG @Atrain_100 LOL… DON’T GIVE IT AWAY BUT LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK:) WE NEED TO STOP WITH THE “BRO SCIENCE” AND GATHER OR INFORMATION FROM CREDIBLE PEOPLE AND SOURCES. Thank you for taking the time to read the blog and feel free to share it:)

Stating a bioavailability above 100% was the first dead give away something was a little bit fishy here haha. But so true, and even when there are studies referenced they still can have confounding issues or be biased. By the way, just discovered your blog and love it!

Bioavailability index is not a percentage, it’s a rating and yes it can go above 100.

Some vegetarians claim that by combining cereals (rice for example) and legumes (beans) you have a very high protein bioavailiability, enough to neglect protein from animal source, what do you think about it?
